Merci pour votre bonne humeur

This morning, in the supermarket, I overheard parts of a conversation between an older man and the check-out assistant. When the gentleman left he said: "Merci pour votre bonne humeur", which means something like "Thank you for your good mood". If only people would say something nice to each other more often, this world would be a much better place.
