For the last Silver Sunday (thank you Beth for hosting this fun event during all these weeks!) I am happy to show you three of my new silver soldered pendants. The first picture shows the front and the second picture the back of the charm.
Themes (for those who do not speak French):
"Chaussure" (shoe), "Pâques" (Easter) and "Enfant" (child)
If anyone is interested in buying one of these pendants....they are for sale! Because I only use old paper, they are all one of a kind. You can always contact me by email.
Today is Silver Sunday, organized by Beth. Please click here to go to Gypsy Fish Journal and enjoy the photos of all the other participants!
I am posting three items today. The first one is a necklace I made for myself some time ago. It is made of sterling silver and lovely carnelian stones. It is my favourite necklace when I'm wearing something black.
The next one is one of my charms, "l'ange" (angel). These charms are soldered with Silvergleem and polished to a beautiful shiny silver.
And last but not least, this silver cup. It says (in Dutch) "Officers Airbase Volkel" and my name and date of birth. My father has served in the Royal Air Force all his life until his retirement about 15 years ago. The cup was a gift when I was born and therefore I am really attached to it.
I promised Sylvia, over at My trinkets, to show my very first soldered charms, just to make her feel better.
Voilà, here they are:
They are very ugly, don't you think?

Well, I finished four of them, however unfortunately it was already too dark to take a photo of the last two. Here are the first two, one tag for a Christmas gift and the other one from an antique french encyclopedia.
Running a family of six, it is sometimes hard to find the time to be creative. Having to work on the kitchen table doesn't make it easier. I would love to have a room of my own, and the house we live in has 5 bedrooms, but somehow we filled them all with children, one after the other..... Today I did the best I could and prepared these soldered charms. Hope to finish them during the weekend.
It has been raining all day long here in Luxembourg, which gave me some time to make two soldered charms. I really love making these (although I know they are not perfect yet).
