Some months ago I saw a beautiful old shaving mirror on Ebay UK and it was love at first sight. Well, you know how easy this is...one click and it was mine. I was extremely happy to be the owner of this beautiful old shaving mirror, located somewhere in the UK, but I had no idea how to get it to Luxembourg. In Holland we have this great site, Marktplaats.nl, where you can buy and sell about everything and I thought I might give it a try. I explained the situation and that same evening I had found a Dutch flower company going to England twice a week and they had no problem picking up my mirror and bringing it to Holland to my father's address. Last week we visited my father and his wife and there it finally was...it was even more beautiful than I remembered. It is such a beauty! Please see for yourself!

ReplyDeleteBedankt voor je bezoekje! Ik ga jouw blog ook eens bekijken als ik even tijd heb, ik ben nu druk bezig met mijn shopje en kaartjes a/h ontwerpen. Wij zouden ook best heel graag naar Luxemburg of de Eifel willen verhuizen! Mooi daar en heerlijk rustig nog echt dat dorpsgevoel...
