This is such a lovely picture of my parents-in-law. Unfortunately they both passed away. My husband's father 20 years ago at the age of 61 and his mother 2 years ago. They both look so young and innocent. The photo has such nice soft colours as only real old photos have. And I love the old frame. It is a bit over the top, but that's exactly what I like about it.
Ik vind het een hele mooie foto, ik val ook op de zachte kleuren. Destijds was het natuurlijk ook mode om foto's in te kleuren. Mijn tante had mijn neefje en nichtje samen laten portretteren in België. Die foto uit ca. 1964 is ook zo pastel maar toch levensecht ingekleurd. Toen mijn jongere neefje ook geportretteerd zou worden vroeg de fotograaf enigszins angstig en dwingend; doe hem alsjeblieft niet dat pakje aan wat die andere toen aan had. Hij had met de hand een peuterpakje geheel pied de poule met rood en groen in moeten kleuren! Fijne avond!
