Apple crisp
Every now and then I take a time-out. During a whole week I do not buy any groceries (except for the urgent ones), and try to empty the fridge, freezer and kitchen cupboard as much as possible. It really saves money! Yesterday, on the search for something easy to bake with apples, I came across this Apple Crisp recipe on Marcia's blog. And she is right, it tasts very good (and is cheap). At the end of the post I have translated the recipe in Dutch and German.
And this bread I made with my supersonic breadmachine. You just put all the ingredients and the machine does all the work for you. You just have to take it out after +/- 3,5 hours.
Nederlands
Platte bakvorm (1 grote of 2 kleine) invetten.
9-10 appels
1/2 kop suiker
2 theelepels kaneel

Appels schillen en in schijfjes snijden, in de bakvorm doen en goed bestrooien met suiker en kaneel. Opzij zetten.
-----
1 kop meel
1 kop bruine basterdsuiker
1/2 kop havervlokken
1/2 kop gesmolten boter of margarine
-----
Goed door elkaar mengen tot het kruimelig is. Over de appels strooien.
Ongeveer 30 minuten in de oven tot de appels lekker zacht zijn.
