Today we took a guide to drive us through Alexandra,
the famous township in Jo'burg. We tried to book
this tour in 2004, but nobody wanted to drive us
then for safety reasons.
This time nobody could stop us!
It was a very emotional trip.
We found an address in the adoption papers
and we drove by the house where one of
the kids' birthmothers lived. We were
relieved to see that she lived in a brick house
with a roof over her head,
and not in the shacks.
