Part of the land surrounding the old farmhouse, where my husband was brought up and my brother-in-law and his family now live, is an orchard. Yesterday was a beautiful, sunny fall day, perfect for apple picking. My husband and the children came back home with several baskets full of apples. This afternoon, after work, the men started crushing and pressing. It is 9 pm now, they have just finished and we have 90 litres of freshly pressed apple juice - called "Viz" in Luxembourgish - in the freezer!
Mmmmm! Heerlijk als je als gezin zo aan de liters Viz werkt! Dat is dubbel genieten. Ik zag even je trouwfoto...wat een plaatje!
