There is something about hat boxes and hat stands that fascinates me. I don't wear hats myself but I like the idea that hats were such an important and expensive fashion item that beautiful leather boxes and lovely hat stands were made just to keep them clean and in good shape.
This is a double hat box, meant to keep two hats.
Do you see the initials! These always add some value, don't you think so?

Die koffers blijven leuk! Ik heb ze allemaal bij elkaar staan, alsof ik bepakt en bezakt op reis ga. Op de hoedenstandaard heb ik altijd een hoed, die ik ook wel draag. Met die regen is het nog praktisch ook!
