Where bloggers create II

First I would like to thank Karen Valentine over at My desert cottage for organizing this wonderful event. It was so much fun selecting all the pictures of my work space.
"Villmools Merci" Karen!

Welcome to Luxembourg, the only Grand-Duchy and one of the smallest countries (2,586 sq kilometers/999 sq miles - 500,000 inhabitants) in the world. Luxembourg is surrounded by Belgium, Germany and France.

I am blogging for fun. I started blogging in October last year and I am so happy I did. It is very inspiring to see other women's art work. My blog is the perfect platform to share my creativeness with other bloggers. I create jewelry, soldered charms and I recently started making vintage cards.

And this is where it all happens:

My working space is a corner in my living room. All the rooms in the house are occupied by our four children. We're planning a house expansion next autumn and I am going to have a real studio! I am really looking forward to it.

I love antique display cases and old chests of drawers.

The printer type trays with my beads.

Old books for my vintage soldered charms/pendants.

This old cutlery box is perfect for my cards.

And another small chest of drawers.

My dress form. I bought her when they were still affordable.

Old English collar boxes are perfect for keeping small items.

My two ladies, I bought them here.

French magazines for inspiration.

I have several containers with glass lid like this. They come from a Dutch bakery. This one holds my African stamps.

A self-portrait made by my great-grandfather, a well-known Dutch painter.

And a painting he made of his son (my grandfather).
This is where my creative genes come from (I think, I hope...).

My vintage soldered charms.

Some of my cards.

And my handmade jewelry.

And some Easter eggs.

That's all! Thank you for taking the time to visit me.
Hope you liked the pictures of my little corner and my artwork.
Please feel free to come by any time at:

If you wish, come and visit the blog of my daughter and me. We are only three months old (our blog) but we are having a great time. It is about much more than our jewelry...our life, our other artistic interests, estate and rummage findings. It is not in a shape good enough to show...hopefully next year!
