Yesterday was a very exciting day for the children, because Saint Nicholas ("Kleeschen" in Luxembourg, "Sinterklaas" in the Netherlands) came to their school. From mid November on they can place their shoes next to the fireplace several times a week, before they go to bed and - when they behaved well - they will be filled with chocolate or candy the next morning. On 6th December there will be gifts.
Our daughter had nothing to fear...
Our son on the other hand, who is normally VERY COOL, was a bit concerned (he is very naughty sometimes).
Is there an emergency exit in this place?
But Saint Nicholas showed mercy, even he received some chocolate!
